Songs include Cowgirl in the Sand, Harvest Moon, Needle and the Damage Done, Ohio, Heart of Gold, and many, many more. In addition to the music, Briz includes narratives about the songs and a "Journey Through the Past" of Neil's amazing career. And of course there will be flannel.

Enjoy nativities from all over the world as well as nightly musical performances by individuals, church choirs and local school choruses. Adults and children alike will enjoy dressing in nativity costume, creating a craft or two to take home, and participating in service opportunities. This family-friendly event is FREE. 15th Annual Puppies for Patients
Give joy. Give life. This holiday season, give the gift that costs nothing but is priceless to patients in need: LIFESAVING BLOOD. With your help, OneBlood hopes to bring smiles to the faces of hundreds of children spending the holidays in our local hospitals this year. Our 15th annual Puppies for Patients kicks off Nov. 1 and runs through Dec. 31. Donate blood or platelets at OneBlood’s North Carolina donation centers and mobile drives and you will have the opportunity to send a message that will then be attached to an adorable stuffed puppy. OneBlood will deliver those puppies to children in area hospitals in an effort to brighten their holidays!

2019 Amplify and Activate Summit: Honoring Ancestry
The 3rd Annual Amplify and Activate Summit will take place on Saturday and Sunday December 7 & 8, 2019. Amplify and Activate is an interactive, inquiry based learning community that lives at the intersection of Yoga, Social Justice and Self Care. This year we our theme is Honoring Ancestry. We have invited Susanna Barkataki, a Florida based South Asian yoga teacher, inclusivity promoter, and yoga culture advocate. As well as Rachelle Knowles an Atlanta based yoga teacher, founder of Cultivate Union, a lululemon ambassador, Anana Harris Parris author of Self-Care Matters: A Revolutionary's Approach and many more. This year we will hold space for honoring ancestral practices of various cultures. Together, we use the Summit to celebrate self care while uplifting the people in the community doing the heavy lifting of anti-oppression work by providing education and self-care practices for both practitioners and people new to learning about anti-oppression work. The summit is an affirming space for All People of all identities (race, age, body capacity, gender and orientations) and all monies go directly into the community to support local businesses and artists. Sponsored by Yoga Alliance Foundation, Lululemon Here To Be, Yoga One, IAMYOGA, Black Yoga Teachers' Alliance; SisterCARE Alliance; The Inspower Agency; Accessible Yoga; Skill in Action; Not required to be a yoga practitioner to participate. 2019 First In Families Holiday Wish List
First In Families is hosting its annual holiday gift drive for kids and adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or Traumatic Brain Injury and other developmental disabilities and their family that are needy and underresourced. The items will be bundled then distributed to the families on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at our annual holiday celebration.
