The 3rd Annual Amplify and Activate Summit will take place on Saturday and Sunday December 7 & 8, 2019. Amplify and Activate is an interactive, inquiry based learning community that lives at the intersection of Yoga, Social Justice and Self Care. This year we our theme is Honoring Ancestry. We have invited Susanna Barkataki, a Florida based South Asian yoga teacher, inclusivity promoter, and yoga culture advocate. As well as Rachelle Knowles an Atlanta based yoga teacher, founder of Cultivate Union, a lululemon ambassador, Anana Harris Parris author of Self-Care Matters: A Revolutionary's Approach and many more. This year we will hold space for honoring ancestral practices of various cultures. Together, we use the Summit to celebrate self care while uplifting the people in the community doing the heavy lifting of anti-oppression work by providing education and self-care practices for both practitioners and people new to learning about anti-oppression work. The summit is an affirming space for All People of all identities (race, age, body capacity, gender and orientations) and all monies go directly into the community to support local businesses and artists.
